Since the early 1990s, Geo. Gradel Co. has operated one of the area’s premier quarry rock operations. We secure our quality stone from Marblehead Quarry, which handles the blasting. Our armor rock can range in size from four to 12 tons, while our rip rap ranges from type D to type A.

Once sized to our customer’s specifications we have the resources to deliver the rocks by truck or on a Geo. Gradel barge for delivery anywhere on the Great Lakes. We also have the equipment – and capability – to place the
rocks according to project specifications. Our quarry rock customers include the Ohio Department of Transportation,
the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and BP -Husky Refinery.
